GRETA VAN ECK

Actress based in Portland, OR

Whether she’s taking on dramatic roles or high energy improv, Greta Van Eck brings a sense of joy to the room. Her love for acting began at age 8 when an acting class at Oregon Children’s Theatre sparked a lifelong passion. She grew up and spent many years training with Oregon Children’s Theatre’s Young Professionals Company. During her time as a Young Professional, she played Eurydice in Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice and was part of the award-winning improv troupe Impulse. She also acted in many plays at Clackamas Community College, favorites being Little Women and She Kills Monsters.

Though Greta loves the thrill of live theatre, her talent expands into film. She recently starred in a Columbia University MFA short film titled Cowgirl. She’s also set to star in an independent short film this spring! If you’d like to see her voiceover work, scroll down for Sunflower Kids, a Pacific Northwest College of the Arts thesis film.

When Greta isn't on the stage or the screen, she might be found baking, mailing letters to her friends, making pottery, wandering through Oregon’s Forests, or at the farmer’s market. Wherever she is, she can be reached with the info on the contact page!
